Warming Sino-Japan ties with green fight

Vice-Premier Li Keqiang called for cooperation on key projects and strengthening technological cooperation at the fourth Sino-Japan Energy-saving and aion gold Environment Protection Forum in Beijing Sunday.

"Japan has a lot of experience in solving energy and environmental issues, while China has put years of effort into forming its energy saving industry. China's potential market and Japan's technology complement each other," said Xie Zhenhua, deputy minister of the National Development and Reform Commission.

The two sides have worked together in aion kina building recycling eco-cities and personnel training, Xie said. About 300 Chinese experts were sent to Japan for training, while more than 300 Japanese experts came to China to help nurture local talent.

The Chinese central government has arranged 58.1 billion yuan ($8.5 billion) to support 10 major energy-saving and emission reduction projects, including sewage treatment and industrial pollution control. China will also help qualified environmental-friendly companies expand their financing channels, Xie said.

Masayuki Naoshima, Japan's minister of economy and trade, said in the near future Japan can assist China with water treatment and carbon emissions control.

China pledged to "strengthen efforts in intellectual property protection" to create a healthy environment for technology transfers, said Chen Jian, deputy aion kinah minister of commerce.

The two countries are also seeking ways to recover from declining trade in the face of the financial crisis. Bilateral trade declined 20 percent year on year to $162 billion in the first nine months, and the number of Japanese-investment projects in China slumped nearly 15 percent to about 900 during the same period. China is Japan's biggest trading partner and export destination.

"Japanese companies with expertise in fuel-efficient technologies, particularly small and medium companies, need China's aion power leveling broad potential market," said Chen.

By the end of 2010, products of the energy-saving and environment protection industry will reach 2.8 trillion yuan in China, according to figures released by the National Development and Reform Commission.

The child's guardian angel

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. So one day he asked God,"They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow but how am I going to live there being so aion account small and helpless?"

God replied,"Among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

But the child wasn't sure he really wanted to go."But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile, that's enough for me to be happy."

"Your angel will aion money sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy."

"And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me,"the child continued,"if I don't know the language that men talk?"

God patted him on the head and said,"Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

But God had an answer for that question too."Your angel will aion power leveling place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"I've heard that on earth there are bad men, who will protect me?"

"Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her life!"

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore,"the child continued warily.

God smiled on the young one."Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be heard. The child knew he had to start on his runescape account journey very soon. He asked God one more question, softly,"Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God touched the child on the shoulder and answered,"Your angel's name is not hard to remember. You will simply call her Mommy."

But now it's little joy
To know I'm farther off from Heaven
Than aion power leveling when I was a boy

"disease-preventing" properties does not mean "fatigue and depression"

A recent study shows that people living on the continent of North America suffer 9 times more chronic fatigue and 31 times more chronic depression than do people living on the continent of Asia. Interestingly, Asians, on average, eat 20 grams of soy per day, whereas North Americans eat virtually none. It turns out that soy contains phytochemicals called isoflavones, which have been found to possess disease-preventing properties. Thus, North Americans should consider eating soy on a regular basis as a way of preventing fatigue and depression.

In this argument, the arguer cites a study showing that North Americans suffer from an amazingly higher rate of chronic fatigue and chronic depression than people living in Asia. From an unknown source, the arguer states that Asians eat much more soy than North Americans, who eat almost none, and that soy aion gold contains disease-preventing properties. The arguer then concludes his or her argument by stating that North Americans should consider regularly eating soy as a means of battling fatigue and depression. This argument suffers from at least four critical fallacies.

For the sake of this argument, we will assume that the studies and the statistics about North Americans' and Asians' soy eating habits are correct, and that isoflavones have been found to have disease-fighting properties. Given that, there is still a problem with the arguer directly correlating the eating of soy with the prevention of disease and depression. First of all, simply because soy may have disease-preventing properties, that does not mean that it can therefore fight chronic fatigue and chronic depression. Fatigue and depression may not actually even be considered as "diseases", therefore even given the fact that soy has disease-fighting properties, it would aion kina have no effect on the "nondiseases" of fatigue and depression. Secondly, even assuming that fatigue and depression are diseases, they are not specifically mentioned as diseases that soy or isoflavones are able to prevent. Perhaps soy can help prevent osteoporosis (bone loss), mumps or even chicken pox, but that does not mean that it can specifically address the problems of chronic fatigue and chronic depression. These two critical weaknesses alone make the argument unconvincing.

Furthermore, the arguer's conclusion is based on the idea that diet alone can prevent fatigue and depression by comparing the diets of North Americans and Asians. It is highly unlikely that diet alone is responsible for the tremendous difference in the rates of aion kinah fatigue and depression between the two populations. Other factors such as lifestyles, occupations, residence in city or rural areas and levels of stress may play a much bigger factor than diet. Additionally, the arguer states that soy contains phytochemicals called isoflavones, which supposedly have disease-preventing properties. What is not stated, however, is whether these isoflavones are contained in a form in soy that is usable by the human body. It is possible that the particular configuration of the phytochemicals found in soy products is not usable by the human body, thereby producing no beneficial effects by people eating more soy products. In and of themselves, isoflavones may prevent certain diseases, but perhaps those found in soy are of no benefit to humans. By failing to address these possibilities, the arguer has presented an unconvincing argument.

In summary, the argument fails due to four major flaws in logic. First, "disease-preventing" properties does not mean "fatigue and depression" preventing properties. Secondly, fatigue and depression may not even be considered as diseases. Thirdly, the arguer ignores the probability that diet alone is not the sole reason behind the increased rates of fatigue and depression for North Americans as opposed to Asians. Finally, isoflavones as found in soy may not produce the same beneficial runescape gold effects as when it is found in other forms. To strengthen the argument and conclusion, the arguer should present evidence that directly links diet to fatigue and depression as well as evidence that shows that soy can specifically prevent chronic fatigue and chronic depression in North Americans.
